Kris Londyn - Musical Artist Press Kit
Approved artist bio for immediate release
Kris Londyn, the Texas powerhouse, is an American country singer-songwriter and actress who brings that "Don't Mess With Texas" attitude to her music often compared to Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Shania Twain. She writes her music from a very honest and personal perspective that comes to life through her stage presence. Career highlights include touring with many platinum recording artists, performing on BET, making the Top 100 of NBC’s “The Voice”; Kris played the role of Sorority Big Sister Elizabeth on "Dear White People" and Laurence Fishburne's girlfriend Cathy on Black-ish. She joined Rissi Palmer's Color Me Country Class of 2021 after the release of "Bless Her Heart" and "Miranda".
Kris's latest single "Bless Her Heart" is for anyone who has moved on from a relationship but the new person in their exe's life doesn't quite understand. Sooo, what's the best southern way to tell a stupid person they're stupid?! Bless Her Heart! Her first single titled "Miranda" was an unapologetic, sassy and powerful tune for the jilted who has a "right" to feel that way. She is currently working on her debut EP entitled, Hello 47, which is dedicated to her grandmother.
